Appendix J: Replacing the Hard Drive

Formatting the Hard Drive

To format the hard disk:

1. Under the DISK tab, select FO

RMAT and select INTERNAL HDD.

2. Under ACTION, select ST

ART. Formatting begins.

3. When formatting is complete, press CA

NCEL/ESC to close windows (USB flash drive

only

ATTENTION: Formatting the HDD erases

all data

on the hard disk.

This step cannot

be undone

. System settings will not be erased.
